Ben Morris

Ben Morris assists the staff in developing and executing communications strategies, as well as monitoring and tracking ballot initiative and referenda activity across the country.  Ben is also the point of contact for media inquiries.

Before joining BISC, Ben worked in government relations for the Marijuana Policy Project where he managed online advocacy, coordinated grantee and volunteer organizers, and served as a liaison to staff on Capitol Hill.

Ben graduated from James Madison University with a degree in Political Science. His interest in progressive politics was piqued during a summer internship with then-Congressman Sherrod Brown. Originally from Virginia, Ben now lives in Washington, DC with his partner Sarah.
