East Bay Express: Californians now support gay-marriage by five percentage points, as state residents' acceptance of the same-sex nuptials continues to grow, according to a new Field Poll. The Chron reports that the poll shows state residents approve of gay marriage 49 percent to 44 percent, a turnaround from last November's election when voters approved Prop. 8 and banned same-sex nuptials 52 percent to 48 percent.
