Question would overhaul Mass. legislative ballots

Associated Press: Lawmakers in the Massachusetts House and Senate would be required to hold secret ballots when electing the House speaker and Senate president under a proposed constitutional amendment. Chris McKeown, the veterans services director in Westwood, is pushing the proposed amendment which he said is needed to help restore a deliberative, representative democratic process to Beacon Hill. Amending the state constitution is no small feat. Attorney General Martha Coakley’s office must first decide the proposed amendment is constitutional. Then McKeown and supporters must collect the signatures of at least 66,593 Massachusetts voters by Dec. 2. The proposed question must then be approved by 50 lawmakers in each of two successive legislative sessions before heading to the ballot.

Good website. I like your writing comments system. My apologies for the off-topic posting, yet I ended up being incredibly impressed with Djokovic’s play in the final of the Australian OPen this year. The man is definitely unequalled. He proved he had been as formidable as iron. Only consider about he he could overcome Nadal who had been so encouraged to win as well as really was so energized up while in the fifth set. Now i’m starting to believe that Djokovic is doing some spiritual work to take some forces on his side to help him win this sort of matches against the very best players in the planet
buy a paper for school. What is your opinion in relation to Rafa’s game?
