Children’s Defense Fund Donates to Insurance Campaign

Associated Press: The Children's Defense Fund is helping push a proposed Montana health insurance ballot measure. The advocacy group says it will give $25,000 to the Initiative 155 effort, which would extend health care coverage to uninsured children and cost about $30 million. State Auditor John Morrison, who is leading the effort, says he is confident supporters will get the signatures needed to qualify the initiative for the ballot.
