Boston Globe: Today is the deadline for submitting questions to the attorney general’s office for the 2010 ballot. If the questions are ruled constitutional by Attorney General Martha Coakley, organizers will have until Dec. 2 to gather 66,593 signatures. By the end of business yesterday, the following questions had been filed or announced:
- Ballot item to seek to lift charter school cap
- Elimination of the state affordable housing law, which allows developers to skirt local zoning codes in cities and towns with less than 10 percent affordable housing, provided the developer includes a percentage of affordable units in a project. A similar effort failed to collect enough signatures last year.
- Elimination of tolls on the Massachusetts Turnpike, Tobin Bridge, and Boston Harbor tunnels by 2012 and the establishment of a new trust fund to cover existing debts on the roadways.
- The rollback of a recent law that imposed a sales tax on liquor purchases.
- The rollback of a recent law that increased the state sales tax from 5 to 6.25 percent.
One group also filed a proposed constitutional amendment for consideration on the 2012 ballot. It would require lawmakers in the Massachusetts House and Senate to hold secret ballots when electing the House speaker and Senate president. The group will not only have to gain enough signatures, but must win approval of at least 50 members of the Legislature in two successive legislative sessions.

Very good website. I like your posting comments system. My apologies for the off-topic posting, yet I was quite astounded with Djokovic’s play in the final of the Aussie OPen this year. The man is probably unequalled. He revealed he had been as formidable as stainlesss steel. Simply think about he he can defeat Nadal who had been so enthusiastic to succeed as well as really was so pumped up in the fifth set. I am commencing to think that Djokovic has been doing some psychic work to take some forces on his side to help him win these kinds of matches up against the finest players in the globe
to buy essay. Whats your opinion in relation to Rafa’s game?
