Associated Press: South Dakota Senate Majority Leader Dave Knudson of Sioux Falls, who seeks the GOP nomination for governor, says he will introduce legislation to send to the state's voters a constitutional amendment to protect the secret ballot. The move is aimed at blunting potential federal legislation that would let a majority of employees at a company organize a union by signing cards, a change from current practice that allows employers to mandate secret ballot elections.
